Melissa Hannah is an attorney in Lufkin, Texas. She is licensed to practice in all courts in the state of Texas and the Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Her concentrations are criminal defense and family law.
Melissa has developed passions in law for helping families in transitions and protecting the rights of the accused. As a result, she spends a significant amount of time in the courtroom.
At Texas A&M University, Melissa majored in Horticulture and minored in business. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 2002. Melissa then went on to study at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. She received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2005 and was licensed to practice law in November 2005.
Melissa was raised as an only child of a life-long logging contractor. She grew up working in the family business all the way from washing log trucks to operating machinery to handling office work for her father’s two companies.
When Melissa isn’t working, she loves spending time with her daughter. She’s active in children’s advocacy groups in the community. She also rides horses and competes in extreme cowgirl competitions.
